New Zealand vs India ODI Series: Harbhajan Singh told what changes India should make in the playing XI in Auckland ODI

The Indian cricket team suffered a four-wicket defeat against New Zealand in the first ODI International match of the three-match series on 5 February (Wednesday). After this match, Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, known as Turbanator, has given a suggestion to the captain Virat Kohli and the team management about the playing eleven for the next match. The second ODI of the series is scheduled to be played at Eden Park in Auckland on 8 February (Saturday). Bhajji believes that India should field both Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav in the playing XI in the next match.
In the first ODI International match of the series played at Sedan Park, Hamilton, the bowlers were heavily beaten. Batting first, India scored 347 runs and in response, New Zealand scored 348 runs in 48.1 overs with four wickets in hand and won the match. Ros Taylor scored a notout 109 in this match and was also named Man of the Match. Bhajji said that Kiwi players looked quite comfortable against fast bowlers, but Kiwi batsmen can be seen struggling in front of two wrist spinners.
Bhajji said that Yuzvendra Chahal could be included in the playing XI in the next match in place of Kedar Jadhav. Chahal was not part of the playing eleven in the first ODI International match. Bhajji said after the match, 'I would like to see Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal playing together. This Kiwi team can play fast bowlers easily on any day and can score fast runs against anyone. But when it comes to playing against spinners, they have always had problems. You can get wickets in the middle over. So I want to see both spinners playing together. Kedar Jadhav can be sitting out and included in an extra spinner team.
New Zealand cricketer Corey Anderson also agreed with Harbhajan Singh and said that India should go with two specialist spinners. Anderson said, "I would also like to see both spinners play for India but Auckland's ground is small, in that case they can get off with only one spinner and would like to have an all-rounder in the team, which helps the batting."
India scored 347 runs for four wickets in 50 overs. Shreyas Iyer had 103 and KL Rahul scored 88 not out innings. In response, New Zealand lost the match by losing 6 wickets in 48.1 overs and scored 348 runs. In this way, New Zealand has also taken a 1-0 lead in the series. Ross Taylor scored an unbeaten 109 off 84 balls and was also named man of the match. Apart from this, captain Tom Latham smashed 69 runs off 48 balls. India had a clean sweep in the five-match T20 series. After the ODI International Series, a two-match Test series will also be played between these two teams.
