52 International Cricket Stadiums in India, not named after a single cricketer; Now matches are not over half

Talking about stadiums, India ranks first in the world. He has a total of 52 cricket stadiums. England is in second place. There are 23 stadiums. India has 29 more stadiums than that. Matches are no longer played at 31 stadiums in the country. The first Test match in India was held in 1933 at the Gymkhana Ground in Mumbai. International matches are no longer played there. The first ODI was held in 1981 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. There too are no international matches now.

Kolkata's Eden Gardens has the opportunity to host the most matches in India. So far 79 international matches have been played there. Second in this case is Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. 65 matches have been played there. 56-56 matches have been played at MA Chidambaram in Chennai and M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. There have been 54 matches at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

There are 21 active stadiums in the country, where international matches are played. Nine of those stadiums are not named on the individual, Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Brabourne in Mumbai, Barabati in Cuttack, Vidarbha in Nagpur, Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, Jamshedpur State Cricket Association in Ranchi. The stadium includes the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala, Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
