IPL 2020: David Warner is not sad after losing the match, said 'this happens
After the defeat at the hands of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2020, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Warner has said that this happens in cricket and you can't always win it . Hyderabad lost by 20 runs to Chennai Super Kings at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Warner said after the match, 'The wicket was slow and I think we needed to feed an extra batsman. We tried to take the match to the end. But when the boundary is large it is not easy. But in cricket it happens and you cannot always win.
He said, 'We thought that a score of 160 is a good score. But we lost two wickets soon. If your team gets a swing ball then it becomes difficult. Having six-seven bowlers in the team helps the team. In the upcoming matches, we need to test the wicket and then choose the team accordingly.
In the match, Chennai won the toss, batting first and scored 167 runs for six wickets and then stopped Hyderabad for 147 runs for eight wickets. Kane Williamson scored 57 runs from Hyderabad.
